This is the ideal tour for who would like to go deeper into the Venetian traditions and go off-the-beaten-track. We’ll start our tour in S.Trovaso, where we’ll admire the only active gondola yard in Venice, we will enjoy a stroll along the Zattere, an area where in the past all the rafts carrying the wood in town arrived. Then we’ll discover Venice’s non-touristy corners, finding out more about the construction of the Venetian ‘palazzi’. We’ll continue through Dorsoduro, to reach the house of an eccentric art collector from the US: Peggy Guggenheim.
